Ragnarok - Destiny of the Gods Card Game

We are proud to offer this unique card game developed in Iceland by Viking age researcher and historian Reynir A. Óskarson.

'Ragnarok - Destiny of the Gods' is a new and unique "edutainment" card game for all ages that can be played by 2 to 99 players. It is designed to make learning about the culture, mythology and society of the Viking age Norsemen easy and fun.

Each deck of cards contains an image of a person, creature, or item from Norse Mythology and each unique card has a fun and easy to read description of the subject on the card with a brief history along with their strengths and their weakness.

The deck contains sixty-five unique Norse mythology themed cards, an information card, and a rule sheet showing the several different ways to play and learn with these cards.

Reynir A. Óskarson is a passionate researcher of Viking-age culture, society and history. He was born and raised in Iceland, where this culture has been preserved better than perhaps any of the other northern lands. He has been researching, testing, studying and teaching about the life of the Norsemen in the Viking age for over ten years, working with some of the world’s most knowledgeable minds on Viking culture. The underlying theme to all this work is the mindset and beliefs of the Norsemen. When he’s not preoccupied with buoyancy tests on chainmail by taking a swim in one or examining historic weapons and artifacts, you’ll find him pondering how to make a time machine to travel back to the Viking age.
