Sword, Spear or Arrow

Viking swords were usually around 35 inches / 90cm long and double edged. The blade would often have 'blood grooves' running its length which both made the sword lighter and saved on precious metal. The hilts were made of bone, antler or precious metals such as gold or silver and were frequently elaborately decorated with inlaid metal or carvings.
