Horn Mug With Viking Longship Design

A handmade buffalo-horn mug carefully carved from a single piece of dark horn that has beencut to shape, heated and shaped to form a handle. A resin base is then added for extra sturdiness.

This design features a hand carved design depicting an iconic Viking Longship. The whole mug is then polished to give it a semi-gloss finish.

Height approx 6.5" / 16cm & capacity approx 17fl oz / 500ml

All mugs and horns have been thoroughly cleaned and sealed inside with FDA-approved sealant to ensure they are safe to drink from.

Due to the fact that horn is a natural product, theshape and colour of each mug is unique and may differ from the images below.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - IMPORTANT

To keep your horn or mug in tip-top condition, please follow these simple guidelines:

  • DO NOT use with hot liquids
  • DO NOT use with strong liquor or soda - wine, beer and mead are all fine
  • Horns and mugs are NOT dishwasher safe
  • Hand wash and gently towel dry after use
  • Avoid contact with chemicals and solvents
  • Extreme temperatures can reshape and potentially damage the horn

Most items are shipped direct from our NJ warehouse. Mugs, t-shirts and other printed items are made to order in the USA so please allow an additional 2-3 days to delivery times for these items.

The mug was supposed to be a birthday gift for my son on Sept 28. But one side of the mug is just a white blur. I don't know what it was supposed to be, but it's very disappointing.
