This was an anniversary gift for my husband. We were both pleased with the quality and the beauty of the ring.

a bit thin. I was hoping for more weight and substance like the brass one had. Good workmanship but more of a child's ring than a mans

It may just be chemical reaction to my skin but the ring is acting like copper, with green stain on my finger. Also, the brass has come off the bottom of the ring. These are minor problems and I do like the ring a lot.

Thank you,
E Erickson

Hi Rick, we just wanted to address your concerns. The ‘green finger’ effect is common on most metals including bronze and silver & is caused by oxidization of the metal. Some people seem to be more prone to it than others but it can also be accelerated by the use of soaps, deodorants etc. It’s harmless and should ease off as the ring gets older but if the ring itself is discolouring then a quick wipe with a metal cleaner cloth will bring it back to its original color again (although please avoid cleaning any black areas as these have been purposely oxidised in order to make the bronze design stand out more).

With regards the bottom of the ring, there is always a small horizontal band of metal that is a slightly different color than the rest of the ring. This is where the ring is held in the mould as is perfectly normal & will not get any worse.

Hope that’s answered your concerns but please drop us a line at support@norsespirit.com if you need to follow up any of these.
