Thor's Hammer is the symbol of the Norse god of thunder who, after his father Odin, is the most powerful and important of the Aesir. Thor's Hammer was often carried by Norse soldiers into battle. It was said to have great power against giants and other creatures because it was so heavy that none could lift it until a man from another race did so, proving that strength and bravery are not limited by what we look like. The hammer became an international symbol for protection against evil spirits, especially in Scandinavia, where it was often engraved on medieval churches for protection.
This stainless steel Mjolnir or Thor's Hammer is a perfect gift for the god of thunder. The hammer is engraved with Celtic scroll designs and a Tree of Life or Yggdrasil on either side of the head. It also features a Valknut design on both ends of the head.
